Step 6: Use backgrounds

On the View menu, click Backgrounds to go to Backgrounds tab.
Select a background theme from the dropdown list. The name of the theme corresponds to the name of the installed addin.
Point at the background you like with your mouse cursor and double click it with your left mouse button.
To change a background, select another background and double click it with your left mouse button.

Note

If you cannot find a suitable background, you can add any clipart image, you can use any clipart image as a background.
To change pattern size, select a suitable multiplier from Scale backgrounds dropdown list.
To fit pattern size to page, select Stretch value from Scale backgrounds list. This value is the last one in the list.

How to remove a background

On the View menu, click Backgrounds to go to Backgrounds tab.

In the list that appears, press Remove background link.

How to add a one-color background to the project

If you have added a background to your project, remove it;

Click Set page color link;

Select a color from the dialog box;

Press OK button.

How to use a background as a clipart image

On the View menu, click Backgrounds to go to Backgrounds tab.
Select a background and right-click it.
On the menu that appears, click Add background as clipart.
